After purchasing this ball holder for working with my dog, I was the envy of training class! The tennis ball is his reward for performing on cue, and with my hands free, it's much easier to hold the leash and/or motion as needed to help my boy understand what I want him to do. The holder is designed so that it's easy to pop the tennis ball in and out quickly, making it great for use in class. The clip stays on a belt or waistband fairly well, although it will not stay put on a belt that is rather thin or slick (like nylon) or anything loose-fitting, especially if you are running, jumping, or otherwise moving around a lot.

Overall, it works. There were a couple of times while I was playing, that it fell off which was disruptive.

Just put the ball in your pocket. Putting a ball in this little plastic thing is hard. It is tricky. You won't want to mess with this little useless plastic piece while you are playing some serious game. It is just annoying. It is hard to put it in and surprisingly the ball in it will not stay stable.
