When I think of Prada, I think of purses and heels... I never really thought I'd ever own any of their products. I also never knew they made sunglasses. I am pleasantly surprised.
There are 3 sunglasses models made with this frame. This is the mid-priced pair. The nearly identical cheaper pair are the SPR52 and the more expensive PR52IS has perforated metal arms. These aren't mentioned or displayed on Prada's web site, so they're either old or obscure models. They are made in Italy.
It took a little adjustment to the bridge to fit me perfectly, which I easily did myself. The frame is sturdy and attractive and the arms open easily. Like many other brands, including my regular brand Revo, the arms are spring actuated/loaded.
They come in a fancy black box with instructions, microfiber cloth, a proof of ownership card and black leather/leatherette wrapped metal case. The presentation is quite classy. The sunglasses are stylish and reserved, not...Read more
